Open Day & Garden Tea Party at Government House

Celebrating 120 years of motoring:

This year marks 120 years since a group of seven pioneer Sydney motorists set about forming an automobile club to represent the interests of owners of the new - fangled Horseless Carriage.

Join us to commemorate the long history of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia as we celebrate in the gardens of Government House in the presence of our Patron, the Governor of NSW. Her Excellency, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC.

The event:

Enjoy the Club's display of collector cars as they proceed to government house in convey from 9.30 am. For car details call David Berthon: 0418258878

Entertainment on the day will be provided by the Royal Australian Navy Band.

Bring a picnic lunch or, join us at the Club for a special lunch* commencing from 12 noon. Members and visitors including children are welcome.

DRESS CODE: Smart Casual

ENTRY TO GOVERNMENT HOUSE: No charge
