Long Run XI to Caves Beach

A Long Run is all about the drive. It’s a chance to get the motor out of the garage and enjoy the open road with friends and perhaps have an adventure along the way. Why not gather some friends to join you in your car and come along for the journey?

Date: Sunday 29th January 2023.

Starting point: Meet at 9.30 am at McDonalds at 513-517 Pacific Highway Mt. Colah 2079 for departure at 10.30am. (Why McDonalds? It’s easy to find, has car parking and toilets.)

Destination for lunch: Caves Coastal Bar and Bungalows 27 Mawson Close Caves Beach 2281.

We plan to be at Caves Beach by 12 noon if you are meeting us there.

About 500 m south of the hotel is the beach itself which at mid and low tide gives access to an enormous cave hence the name. Perhaps a wander on the beach before the drive back?
